Hey👋 my name is Daniel.
I'm a Software Engineer based in Cape Town, South Africa.

From a young age, I had a natural affinity for technology. I was creating websites, experimenting with Python scripts, and tinkering with the home network and Windows registry, all before I was even a teenager. This passion naturally paved the way for where I find myself today.

Over the past few years, I've gained diverse experience in South Africa's e-commerce space, learning and building alongside industry experts. My career started at Quench, an on-demand grocery delivery startup, and then progressed to Bash, where I was involved in the Supply Chain rebuild - most notably, building out the logistics platform that today processes tens of thousands of parcels per week. I am now at ShopriteX, where I develop and maintain scalable, high-throughput services that power the Checkers Sixty60 platform.
